Fellowship Opportunities
"So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us." 1 Thessalonians 2:8

We believe biblical fellowship is more than a "pot-luck" meal that takes place in the "fellowship hall."  Instead, fellowship is better understood as relationships.  While we may gather for a meal or enjoy a recreational event together, it is truly more about the relationships than the event.  These environments are created for the purpose of helping you develop Christ-honoring relationships that will strengthen our impact in fulfilling the Great Commission!

Fellowship
through Small Groups

The primary biblical purpose for our small groups is fellowship.  Our greatest desire is that small groups become a place where people can connect with one another and form relationships that help them grow and mature in their faith.  Fellowship is the relational aspect of discipleship.

Sunday School Based Small Groups
We have SS Based Small Groups for all ages each and every Sunday beginning at 9:45am.  Please visit the Information Booth in our lobby and someone can assist you in finding the best small group that meets all of your family's needs.

Home-Based Small Groups
These groups are diverse in their make-up.  Before you arrive at one of our Home-Based Small Groups, it would be best to contact the Small Group Host or Small Group Leader first.  They  will be able to let you know if any changes have been made to the schedule.  If you cannot reach the SG Host or SG Leader, please contact our church offices to inquire about Home-Based Small Groups.

Fellowship
through Membership

Church membership is not about having your name in our church database.  It is about a covenantal relationship with other like-minded believers who are committed to the Great Commission.

How to Join our Fellowship:
If you would like to join the membership of First Baptist Church and covenant with us to fulfill the Great Commission, we invite you to take CLASS 101: Discovering Church Membership.  You will be given an opportunity to meet all of the pastors and to ask questions about our church.  We would like the opportunity to introduce you to our church family on a Sunday morning, so we ask you to "come forward" after the pastor's message.  One of our pastors will stand in front of the pulpit to greet you.

Fellowship
through Events

The best place to discover fellowship within our church family is through Small Groups.  We also have numerous opportunities to build relationships through events.  Click the button below to see our church calendar of events.
